Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing (MEP) Print Reading - November 15 through December 17 - Online
This hybrid course offers the flexibility to complete reading assignments, online videos, and workbook exercises at your own pace during the week, requiring approximately 3-4 hours. Additionally, there is a weekly 1.5-hour "Live Learning Lab" where you can connect live with the instructor and fellow learners to discuss workbook answers and pose questions.
This course enhances foundational print reading skills with advanced knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems. The skills acquired will serve you throughout your construction career, encompassing the interpretation of various heating and cooling systems, HVAC symbols, electrical terminology, schedules, types of electrical drawings, plumbing systems, fixtures, diagrams, and the ability to articulate the three stages of plumbing installation.
Authored and instructed by seasoned commercial construction professionals, the course leverages an online learning platform to organize materials and content, which remains accessible for two years post-completion.
