The LEED AP for Existing Buildings exam track, LEED AP-Operations & Maintenance specialty provides a standard for professionals participating in the operation & maintenance of existing buildings that implement sustainable practices & reduce the environmental impact of a building over its functional life cycle.
The course includes all LEED v4 changes and SIG will provide in-depth overview of the recent changes to the LEED AP exam structure, the EBO&M rating system, real life project case studies, and mock exam question training that will prepare attendees to take the LEED AP+ O&M exam.
The LEED for Operations & Maintenance (Existing Buildings) Rating System helps building owners and operators measure operations, improvements and maintenance on a consistent scale, with the goal of maximizing operational efficiency while minimizing environmental impacts. LEED for Existing Buildings addresses whole-building cleaning and maintenance issues (including chemical use), recycling programs, exterior maintenance programs, and systems upgrades.
