This 4-hour session meets AGC's requirements for CM-Lean Continuing Education Credit.
Tired of decisions being delayed, revisited, or overturned by stakeholders? The traditional method for making decisions in most design and construction projects is top-down, opaque, and based on authority. Few decision-makers have proper training in making sound decisions and results are often delayed or reversed, wasting time and resources.
Choosing By Advantages (CBA) is a proven, sound decision-making method that supports multiple stakeholders as they consider numerous factors and perspectives while choosing among multiple alternatives. CBA is the lean method for facilitating the conversations that produce the decisions that guide the right actions and outcomes. CBA aligns closely with other lean methods (especially Set-Based Design and Target Value Delivery) and allows teams to confidently present their findings and explain their thought-process to any stakeholder group.
