DESCRIPTION:Join the City and County of Denver's Jeff Tejral to learn about upcoming existing building code and how you can ensure buildings you work with comply with equipment replacement requirements. We will address what this new policy impacts buildings\, where to start\, and resources including financial incentives and contractor trainings.\n\n\n\nThe presenter: Jeff Tejral is the Electrification Manager with the City and County of Denver's Office of Climate Action\, Sustainability and Resiliency (CASR). His role in CASR is to implement policy and programs to accelerate adoption of heat pump technology to the buildings and homes in Denver. Jeff has over 25 years' experience in programs management\, incentive design and policy implementation in water\, energy and land-use management. In previous roles he worked collaboratively to establish landscape codes and water efficient incentives\, managed Colorado's two largest water efficiency programs at Aurora Water and Denver Water. He has a Bachelor of Science in Natural Resource Management from the University of Nebraska and Master of Urban and Regional Planning from the University of Colorado at Denver.
