Craft Training (CITC)

AGC provides a full 4-year apprenticeship program for members (in conjunction with other industry partners) through the Construction Industry Training Council.  The facility is located at AGC’s education campus at 7th & Mariposa.  Students must be employed by a member firm to participate in the hands-on training program.

APPRENTICESHIP REGISTRATION:
July 5 – August 5, 2011
Monday – Thursday, 2:00pm – 5:00pm

All NEW students, regardless of level, must register in person at CITC

Classes begin the week of August 15, 2011

SEMESTER TUITION:
$710 per semester for association members
$760 per semester for non-members
Books and fees are extra (costs range from $100 - $500)

TESTING:
All first year student must take a math assessment test and pass with a 70% or better.
Students who don’t pass are required to attend a math tutoring.
Test-out will be held July 14, 2011 at 1:30pm at the CITC office.

The cost is $150 per apprentice.  If the apprentice passes successfully $50 of the fee is applied to tuition.
