October 7 & 8, 2008
Adams County Fairgrounds, 8:30 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.

Registration opens August 1, 2008.

Colorado Construction Career Days will entertain and educate over 1500 students on October 7th and 8th at the Adams County Fairgrounds. The planning committee wants YOU, the construction community, to join in the event in full force.

The event is designed to show students the many facets of building and highway construction and help them decide if this is the industry for them. Architects, engineers, builders and tradesmen will provide hands-on activities to pique the students’ interest. (Imagine if you got to ride a scissor lift or operate a backhoe when you were 17!)

The planning committee includes over thirty businesses, associations, and government agencies – general contractors, architects, engineering companies, landscaping contractors, specialty contractors, suppliers, and safety professionals – as well as school district representatives and community colleges. This is an industry wide event to promote it as a career choice.
