AGC Receives Green Grant to Provide FREE LEED Training to Construction Community!

AGC of Colorado, through Labor’s Community Agency, is a recipient of the Green Careers for Coloradans, DOL Energy Training Partnership Grant. Beginning in May, specific LEED Trainings will be available at no cost except for a $25.00 Registration Fee.  All classes are one day workshops with additional 6 weeks of on-line access to study resources.  If you are intending to pursue the LEED Green Associate accreditation and/or are a GA or LEED AP pursuing a LEED AP+ designation, this is just the opportunity for you. The classes will be offered throughout 2011 and all are 1-day in length. The grant objectives are to provide opportunities for incumbent, newly trained and unemployed construction workers to gain industry-endorsed green certifications to be more marketable in the current economy and thereby increase opportunities for business expansion

PLEASE NOTE:

·         The Registration fee is non-refundable

·         Pre Registration is required to attend the class

·         Participants receive a certificate at the end of the class

·         You must arrive at the beginning of the class and remain for the entire class to receive your certificate

·         Classes are filling fast and class sizes are limited.
